An annual collection of live creative briefs

We're delighted to unveil all those Commended as part of the most recent YCN Student Awards. All Commended Entrants are listed, in no particular order, below. Remember, there is no hierarchy of winners in the YCN Student Awards. A Commendation means you've won, and we can't wait to meet you at this year's Autumn Awards Ceremony — full details of which will be emailed to those named here. A huge thanks once again to all those who took the time to take part, making this our biggest ever bounty of entries.

A huge thanks to everyone who submitted work as part of the most recent YCN Student Awards. The deadline past on Thursday, and we received a record number of uploads (and some nice physical elements in support too).

Judging will now begin in earnest, with updates shared online in due course.

Those working on this year's YCN Student Awards briefs will be able to upload their work from the beginning of March. We're going to be using a fancy new uploading system, courtesy of the brilliant team at AwardsEngine; and all will be ready to go well in advance of this year's March 27th deadline.

We've been busy visiting Universities, Colleges and Art & Design schools across the land; promoting the latest YCN Student Awards and broadly spreading the YCN word. A big thanks to all those who have come along and shown such enthusiasm for our work.

Shown is an image taken at Lincoln University on Wednesday 15th January. We were joined by Natalie Rich from Boost and James Cross from their creative agency Big, who spoke about their brief. See it among all the others here. Thanks very much to our current intern Alice Bowsher for her handy work on the image below.
