Boost your creativity, beat bias and reveal more opportunities — by avoiding the pitfalls that our default modes of thinking and routines can lead us to.
Routine and habits — and the ability to spot patterns — are great for keeping us on track towards our goals, but the flipside can be when autopilot kicks in. Our subconscious can easily take our focus towards what's safe, predictable patterns and those all to familiar people and things that have worked for us before.
When we're in autopilot we might sometimes save energy and time, but we can also miss opportunity, ideas and new perspectives that could take us somewhere well worth going.
This session is all about getting acquainted with our autopilot, its relationship with our biases, and understanding when it's helpful and when it's harmful to have 'switched on'. We'll be learning some practical, creative and mind-opening tools for enriching our perspectives and attuning ourselves to all that's new. When we're out of autopilot we're fully engaging our imaginations, making use of our minds and consciously open to possibility.

How the session will be structured:
We'll punchily mix sharing ideas and theory with plenty of practical and interactive exercises and discussion.

Anyone keen to explore creative approaches to getting more from their mind and the world, and welcoming the perspectives of others.
