Led by the Your Studio Co-founders, a group of retailers shared learnings on opportunities for making tech meaningful in-store
Opportunities abound for retailers to engage and delight shoppers in-store; leveraging data, installing tech and deploying digital trickery to aid dwell and purchase. But what's the point? What's working? Where's the value? And what are the real opportunities to put smart technologies into play? To unpack some of these questions, and to get familiar with some of the latest opportunities and kit; we hosted a morning briefing in the studios of our neighbours YourStudio on Rivington Street. Co-founders Howard Sullivan and Tom Phillipson have bags of experience on such matters, gained experimenting alongside clients in all sectors (most recently with the summer's talking point Topshop Splash!) and have kindly shared some of it, alongside some recent research commissioned.
Following coffees and a punchy presentation from Howard and Tom we opened up conversation — bringing in the experiences, perspectives and questions of our our retailers in the group.
