The Flower Appreciation Society Masterclass
| YCN — £65

On Wednesday 12th December, YCN hosted a festive floral masterclass with the Flower Appreciation Society.

Following on from the success of their workshop this summer, Ellie Jauncey and Anna Day of The Flower Appreciation Society returned to the YCN Shop & Library to host another masterclass, this time with a wide array of festive flora and foliage in tow.

Using delphiniums, anemones, carnations, berried ivy, spray roses, avalanche roses and camomile, Ellie and Anna taught their guests how to make seasonal bouquets and decorative head dresses. Throughout the evening, the pair also shared some of the invaluable tips and tricks of the trade, introduced some interesting and unusual materials, and provided an insight into which of the flower markets in London are the best.

Thank you to Ellie and Anna for an insightful evening, and to everybody who got involved in the workshop.
