Sam Conniff Allende on his new book, Be More Pirate
Talk | YCN — For our members

On 14th June we were joined by rulebreaker and author of Be More Pirate, Sam Conniff Allende, to talk us through the ideas in his book, challenge our thinking and answer our questions.

On a sunny June evening on YCN’s roof terrace, we welcomed entrepreneur and former creative marketing agency CEO Sam Conniff Allende to hear about the buccaneering thinking behind his brand new book.

Sam is the multi-award winning social entrepreneur, co-founder and CEO of youth-led creative network Livity, whose latest endeavour has seen him research, devise and act upon a new manifesto inspired by – pirates. His new book, Be More Pirate, is as much a philosophy as a book; Sam takes the rebellious, innovative and disruptive strategies of history’s great pirates and asks how they can be applied in a modern day context to find success in life and at work.

"Have you ever wanted to make your mark on the world and wondered how? Have you ever wanted to stand up to the system, break it, or make it better? Have you ever wondered how to find success amidst unpredictability? The answer? Be More Pirate."
