Strategic Social Media Marketing
Workshop | YCN Library — For our members

Develop a strategic approach to marketing in social media at this half-day workshop, led by social communications consultant Paul Sutton.

With social media platforms so varied and trends quick to change, developing the right strategic blueprint to steer your digital marketing can be challenging. As part of our Strategic Social Media Marketing series of workshops, digital marketing consultant Paul Sutton returns to the library for a half-day session to help us navigate this tricky landscape. From using third party tools to figuring out what kind of content to publish, join us to learn everything you need to know to build a sound social media strategy.

What will we cover?

  • Investigating what makes good social media marketing

  • Choosing the right platform for your objectives

  • Building a more meaningful approach to social media use

  • How to plan, schedule and implement a content strategy

  • Hitting the right tone of voice for your audience

  • Using third party tools

  • How to ensure genuine return on investment

  • Getting up to speed with the latest social network trends

How will this session be structured?

Throughout the session we will enjoy a hands-on combination of sharing, listening and doing; with the opportunity to work directly on the social media profiles you manage. Questions and discussion will be encouraged throughout.

Who is it for?

The workshop is open to anyone of any level of experience who manages social media, within any kind of organisation. We only ask that you come prepared to share your experiences and challenges with the group.
