Essentials for Content Creation
Workshop | YCN Library — For our members

In this hands-on workshop Head of Content at content and marketing agency Spoon, Jessica Pike, will share lessons on how to write great digital content, and the importance of it.

Great digital content plays an essential role in helping brands stand out against competitors, but knowing how to make that content great is a daunting task. From finding the right tone of voice, being authentic to knowing how to navigate the digital landscape, the challenges of producing and distributing digital content are varied.

Join us in the library with Head of Content at Spoon, Jessica Pike, for a hands-on workshop on how to write great digital content, from blog posts to how-to guides, and provide your business with invaluable assets that reach your audience in ways that are engaging, effective and tangible.

What will we cover?

  • How to write great digital content, from headlines to the structure of blog posts

  • How to utilise and make sense of ‘Search Engine Optimisation’ (SEO) and ‘Calls To Action’ (CTAs)

  • Making content that’s right for your audience and your message

  • The importance of distribution and sharing on social media

How will this session be structured?

The workshop will be both practical and hands-on, giving you the opportunity to work and receive feedback on the first draft of your own piece of digital content, that we’ll create over the course of the session.

Who is it for?

Anyone who writes, edits, or deals with content creation in their day-to-day job, whether you’re a studio manager responsible for your company's social content or a junior copywriter working in digital channels for the first time.
