Talking about listening, with Bobette Buster
Roundtable | Sessions House — For our members

Why is it that we feel astonished, even grateful, when someone really hears us? Join us to learn more about the power of listening, and how to listen well.

On 20th November we are delighted to welcome story consultant, lecturer, screenwriter and author of the latest in the Do book series, Do Listen: Bobette Buster.

Bobette is a storyteller by trade, with over 25 years of experience as a Hollywood producer, screenwriter and educator.

Do Listen: Understand What Is Really Being Said. Find a New Way Forward is an exercise in rediscovering "the lost art of listening". This basic act can be relearned, cultivated and mastered, used as a strategy and as a tool to unlock deeper connections and breakthroughs at work and in our personal lives. With Do Listen, Bobette Buster asks us, what can we achieve and change by actively listening?

At this conversational roundtable session, Bobette will introduce some of the ideas in her book, share some practical ways in which we can all improve the ways we listen — and open up conversation around our own individual challenges and perspectives.

We'd love to have you along.
