The Joy of Work, with Bruce Daisley
Talk | YCN Rivington Rooms — For our members and programme participants

From the importance of a lunch break to the value of laughter — Bruce will be setting out his practical lessons for better and more creative cultures at work.

Bruce Daisley is a man on a mission — to change the world of work. By day Bruce is European Vice-President for Twitter. Alongside that, he hosts one of the most popular business podcasts around: Eat Sleep Work Repeat. On the show, Bruce hosts a brilliant array of entrepreneurs, authors and academics, who offer first-hand advice on how to make work more rewarding, energising and fit for the modern world.

Now in his new book, The Joy of Work, he’s bringing it all together — setting out 30 practical ways to “fix your work culture and fall in love with your job again” — from simple tweaks in the office that will instantly boost productivity, to proven ways to make your meetings more meaningful. And the good news is that they don't depend on the boss’s sign-off to make them happen.

On the morning of 22nd February Bruce will be visiting YCN to talk us through the thinking in the book, expanding on why and how we should be putting it into practice — opening up a conversation with the audience about their own workplace woes and opportunities.

If you’re interested in changing the status quo, and exploring how things can be done differently, we’d love for you to join us. Please drop us a line below to save your seat.
