Vocal Confidence
Workshop | YCN Library — For our members and programme participants

Vocal coach Ingrid Gray will share techniques for gaining authority and relieving tension when speaking.

We can all benefit from a stronger and more confident voice — and this session is all about developing one, irrespective of our starting point.

Led by voice coach, and graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama's Voice studies MA, Ingrid Gray — we'll be exploring a variety of methods that enable better projection, relaxation and the release of tension so that you're more capable and confident when speaking in different contexts day-to-day.

What we'll cover:

• How to relax and release tension

• Improving your posture and alignment

• Breathing techniques, vocal resonance and modulation

• Enhancing presence and impact

How the session will be structured:

As a group we'll work through a series of exercises led by Ingrid, bringing our own experiences into open discussion.

Who the session's for:

Anyone wishing to level up their vocal confidence and feel better equipped when speaking in all kinds of situations and groups.

Partner with us

Creatively-driven organisations partner with YCN to continually build capability throughout their teams.

Our open, year-round learning programme brings people from across these organisations together, enriching their mindsets and skillsets, and building their networks too. We take targetted, topic specific sessions into members’ teams at their places of work; and, when required, help our members to connect with the smartest thinking from across our network in relation to specific business challenges.
