ZOOM: Fear Hack
Remote Learning | YCN — For our members and programme participants

Dial in from the comfort of your own seat, and join a group of peers sharing their fears, and reframing them as opportunities.

In this two hour 'virtual' session, led by coach and author Hilary Gallo, we’ll be exploring the things that stop us doing what we’d really like to be doing. Where do our fears come from and how do they end up having such an effect on us? The workshop coincides not just with new year resolve, but also the publication of Hilary's aptly named new book — Fear Hack. He's also the author of The Power of Soft, a guide to getting what you want without being a ****.

The Fear Hack is a session which enables us to talk about our fears in an open way. By talking about fear we get to see that it isn't quite the big deal we thought it was. We learn what stops us, as well as what holds our bosses and team members back. We get to hack our fears.

What we'll cover:

• An exploration of Fear and its prevalance

• Dealing with anxiety inducing situations

• How to have a different relationship with fear

• The things that are holding you back

• How to reframe fear as opportunity

How the session will be structured:

Hilary will guide the remote group through conversation and exercises, focussed on the topic overall but also tailored to the fears and stories that we each bring with us.

Who is the session for?

Anyone who'd like to understand and embrace fear more readily, and who'd like to do more of the things you’d really like to do. You might suffer from “imposter syndrome” – the fear of being found out – but you might also just be curious about what a reframing of fear could do for you. You'll be asked to have in mind something your currently fearful of.

Please drop us a line below if you'd like to join the group, and we'll send over the Zoom dial-in details.

Partner with us

Creatively-driven organisations partner with YCN to continually build capability throughout their teams.

Our open, year-round learning programme brings people from across these organisations together, enriching their mindsets and skillsets, and building their networks too. We take targetted, topic specific sessions into members’ teams at their places of work; and, when required, help our members to connect with the smartest thinking from across our network in relation to specific business challenges.
