Join Scott Morrison on the streets of Shoreditch to discover that answers to your most pressing challenges are everywhere.
We all have times when we get stuck. Stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking, unable to find a way around a challenge, or unable to find inspiration within the same four walls of our offices or studios. What should we do when our usual problem solving strategies fail? Scott Morrison and the Street Wisdom team would recommend taking to the streets.
On Wednesday 11th September, join Scott on the streets of Shoreditch for a 'walkshop' to unlock new perspectives and ways of thinking. Invented by David Pearl in 2013 and developed with the help of fellow author Chris Baréz-Brown, Street Wisdom gives people the skills to see the urban environment in a new way, ask a question and use the answers they discover to unlock fresh thinking, using a combination of psychology, mindfulness and cognitive science.
What will we cover:
- Introduction to the Street Wisdom framework, and how to use the street for unusual inspiration.
- Time, space and tools to resolve your most pressing challenge.
How will the session be structured:
We'll meet at YCN HQ to tune up our senses so we can pick up as much information as possible from the journey. Then we'll be off on our own — our personal street quest — where we'll ask questions and see what answers present themselves. And finally we'll gather back together and share our experiences.
Who is the session for:
Anyone with an open-mind who has a real blockage or challenge that they’ve want to overcome.
Please drop us a line below if you'd like to join the group.
