We'll bring a group together remotely to discuss, explore and commit to applying some of the sharp thinking on getting things done in James Clear's best-selling book.
In Atomic Habits, James Clear sets out how small changes can grow into big, positive and goal-hitting outcomes. The book combines a breakdown of some simple productivity hacks, and sets out the stories of psychology and neuroscience that sit behind them. Clear's belief is that making small changes can have a transformational effect on our work, relationships and life; and that Atomic Habits are the "compound interest of self-improvement". They're about getting out of bad routines an into positive ones.
You don't need to have read Atomic Habits to join this virtual session, and participate among a group from the comfort of your own seat (or meeting room). A facilitator from the YCN team will lead the session, and share some of the core ideas from the book — framing them as a series of actions to take-away and put into practice. We'll use some of these ideas as a jumping off point into the topic of productivity and habits more generally, and pull in perspective from those on the call on their own approaches to getting things done — so that we're learning from each other too. James Clear will not be on the ZOOM call; think of it more of a virtual book group, with lots to take away even if you've not yet read any or all of the book.
If you'd like to dial in just drop a line in the form below, and we'll be in touch with all the dial in details and a calendar invite for your diary.
