When our actions align with our values, work and life become more fulfilling. This two hour workshop will extend your personal toolkit, through focus and authenticity at work.
Our values lay the foundations for the way we live our lives and, whether consciously or not, inform every decision we make. And while many of us might think about values first in relation to the companies we work for, or the brands we admire — few take the time to think about what we really stand for personally. Establishing our own values gives us a set of ideas and beliefs to measure of behaviours against, so we’re clear about what is important to us and where we’re willing to compromise, or not.
In this two hour workshop led by a YCN Coach Facilitator we’ll introduce a series of exercises used in coaching practice, supported by group discussion and partner work to help you identify new strategies for self-awareness and decision making.
What we’ll cover:
• Exercises to identify and define our own personal values
• Theory to help us establish extrinsic and intrinsic values in our work
• The benefits of measuring our behaviours against our values and what happens when we don’t
• How to align your values with others to find overlap and balance within teams
How the session will be structured:
We’ll move through a series of practical exercises, including visualisations, to identify our values, then jump into the ways we can apply them. Participants will leave with a clear idea of their own values and more confidence and conviction to work in harmony with them.
Who is the session for:
Anyone who would like to build more awareness of themselves; whether you’re' establishing your values for the first time or would like to revisit them for more clarity.
