In this session you'll learn the value of a coaching mindset and how to apply proven coaching approaches to your most important relationships.
Building the principles of coaching into our day-to-day relationships; whether that's with our direct reports, bosses or family members, can have a huge impact on performance and wellbeing. Coaching provides a powerful, purposeful tool for enabling people and teams to perform at their peak; particularly valuable in the modern world of work where skills in communication and collaboration are vital.
Good coaches excel in skills like questioning, listening, creating self-awareness and are adept at giving and receiving feedback — all of which we'lll cover in this half-day workshop. We'll set the context on the modern appetite for coaching, exploring what it is and what it isn't — before working through a number of practical tools and techniques together. Expect an invigorating and transformative session that will help you bring out the best of yourself and others.
What we'll cover:
• The concept of coaching, and its relationship with skills like mentoring
• How to get into the coaching mindset

Who the session is for:
Perfect for people-managers, this session is for those looking to build coaching capabilities or for those with existing coaching skills and backgrounds looking to refine and practice them in a supportive space; sharing their experiences and perspectives with others.
