5 Skills for Success, with Sarah Ellis + The Squiggly Career
Talk | YCN — For our members and programme participants

Join us for a conversational Spring session, discovering the key skills needed to thrive in the modern word of work — and leaving with new ideas to immediately put into practice.

In March, we'll warmly welcome Sarah — co-founder of Amazing If, co-host of the squiggly careers podcast and author of the recently published The Squiggly Career — to the Library.

Sarah will will take us through the 5 key skills she believes we need to succeed at work today. This will be a practical, relevant and 'how-to' focused session — with plenty of time to put questions and career conundrums to Sarah for discussion among the group.

Sarah trained as a coach with Henley Business School, has an MBA from Warwick and has attended Harvard’s Leadership programme. Prior to launching Amazing If, Sarah held leadership roles at Sainsburys, Barclays and Gravity Road. The Squiggly Career was selected as a Financial Times business book of the month, and has been reviewed as 'a timely and brilliant handbook for now' (Stylist) and 'an indispensable guide to creating your own working life' (Viv Groskop).
