Fear Hack
Workshop | Working From_ Southwark — Free for our members and programme participants

Led by author and coach Hilary Gallo, the purpose of this session is to discuss and reframe the idea of fear — so that we can do more of what we want to do.

In this 90-minute workshop session, led by coach and author Hilary Gallo and hosted high up at Working From_Southwark, we’ll be exploring the things that stop us doing what we’d really like to be doing. Where do our fears come from and how do they end up having such an effect on us? The workshop brings to life the ideas in Hilary's recently published book — Fear Hack.

The Fear Hack is a session which enables us to talk about our fears in an open way. By talking about fear we get to see that it isn't quite the big deal we thought it was. We learn what stops us, as well as what holds our bosses and team members back. We get to hack our fears.

What we'll cover:

• An exploration of Fear and its prevalence

• Dealing with anxiety inducing situations

• How to have a different relationship with fear

• The things that are holding you back

• How to reframe fear as opportunity

How the session will be structured:

Hilary will guide the group through conversation and exercises, focussed on the topic overall but also tailored to the fears and stories that we each bring with us.

Who is the session for?

Anyone who'd like to understand and embrace fear more readily, and who'd like to do more of the things they’d really like to do. You might suffer from “imposter syndrome” — the fear of being found out — but you might also just be curious about what a reframing of fear could do for you. Please drop us a line below if you'd like to join the group.
