Running Remote Groups
Virtual Workshop | For our members and programme participants

Learn and practice the principles for transforming the energy and effectiveness of your virtual meetings, workshops and other remote groups.

For many of us remote meetings and other virtual gatherings are becoming a feature of modern work. But for all they promise in convenience and accessibility, they're often lacking in their effectiveness, enjoyability and richness as a social experience.

It doesn't have to be this way. High-performing teams are applying proven principles from social learning, behavioural insights and facilitation to make their remote groups some of the most effective, energising and memorable times they spend together.

And this session is all about introducing, exploring and applying these principles together — and sharing them with you as practical tools and techniques to take away and apply in your teams.

What we'll cover:

• How to kick off virtual sessions so they're set up for success
• Setting expectations
• Managing energy, focus and connection among groups
• Behavioural insights that dictate the ways we perform when not together
• The tricks of expert remote facilitators in the field
• Reaching decisions

How the session will be structured:

Expect a fittingly punchy and collaborative virtual session mixing instruction, discussion and the application of new ideas right away.

Who the session is for:

Anyone keen to build new skills in running, or participating in, remote sessions.
