Tools for Trust
Remote Learning | For our partners' teams

Get to key trust building ideas for all kinds of relationships, guided by Louise Hedges — an advocate for the Trusted Adviser philosophy and witness to its impact on personal and commercial growth.

"There is no greater source of distrust than advisors who appear to be more interested in themselves than in trying to be of service to the client. We must work hard to show that our self-orientation is under control."
David Maister, The Trusted Advisor.

Louise Hedges provides commercial smarts to businesses of all shapes and sizes, from hospitality groups like Ennismore to digital consultancies like Adaptive Lab. And she's become a firm believe in the consulting principles laid out in David Maister’s classic book Trusted Advisor — adapting it from the world of management consulting for the modern, creatively driven environment.

Louise believes it's never been more relevant in these current turbulent and distributed times — and that by grasping the balance of credibiity, reliability, intimacy and self-orientation, we'll gain a whole new way of thinking about the impact we make within the relationships that matter the most to us.

In this short, enlightening and practical session — Louise will set out some core ideas around Trust and the Trusted Adviser philosophy, open-up some conversation around them and ensure that everyone leaves with at least one practical new approach to apply.
