Introducing Appreciative Inquiry
Remote learning | For our partners' teams

Arm yourself with new understanding around a proven positive approach to solving problems, building teams and strengthening organisations.

Appreciative inquiry is an approach to change that has gained traction in the last 20—30 years across the world, and for good reason too. Drawing from positive psychology and storytelling, AI offers an alternative approach to areas such as problem solving, leadership development and organisational design by focussing on what is working rather than what’s not.

By starting with strengths rather than weaknesses we encourage a positive, collaborative processes where participants are motivated to co-design positive outcomes, enriching and enhancing their relationships in the process.

In this 90 minute virtual session, we’ll introduce the idea of Appreciative Inquiry; and share and explore share practical examples of real life applications so that everyone leaves with fresh perspectives and new approaches to apply within their work and life.

What we'll cover:

• An introduction to the concept and of principles of AI
• The 5D’s intervention model and how to use it
• Examples of the methodology at work, with practical takeaways

How the session will be structured:

An even mix of instruction and ideas shared, mixed with group discussion and the application of new ways of thinking.

Who the session is for:

Anyone keen to discover Appreciative Inquiry, refresh their understanding or otherwise curious to explore new approaches among peers.
