Get to grips with the power that gratitude can have on our ability to focus, thrive and positively impact others — in this short and social session.
When our regular routines are disrupted the stability we find in our daily practices becomes all the more important. And with many of us now working from home, we’re faced with a different set of distractions and it's easy to feel scattered, caught between the tangle of tasks competing for our attention. With our screen time increasing, and digital communication on the up, coming back to our bodies is something that can help us to reset, recharge and relax.
The power of taking the time to be grateful for what we have is widely proven to improve mental health and wellbeing. Gratitude helps us to refocus on what we have instead of thinking about all the things we lack. Although it may feel contrived at first, overtime the process of consciously considering all the good things we have can encourage a more optimistic outlook, with this mindset growing stronger with use and practice.
In this focused 30 minute session we’ll explore the concept of gratitude, and through a guided practice and journalling exercises, support you in remembering all the good, and sharing some purposeful tools for making this mindset part of your everyday.
