Owning Feedback

In modern working cultures, feedback is a must-have — the ultimate learning tool. It's something we must continually improve our ability to give and receive at all times. And in this super-practical, collaborative workshop we'll learn how to do both; arming ourselves with proven, practical tools for providing others with clear, actionable feedback, while pulling in what we need to progress ourselves too.

Conscious Inclusion

The recognition that we all have unconscious biases affecting our decision making and relationships has become a purposeful topic for conversation — in the pursuit of working cultures where we all feel included and able to do our best work together. In this workshop you'll learn how to identify five key biases, and get on the front foot with intentional, everyday steps to mitigate them.

Effective 1-1s

In a valuable 1-1, a manager and team member connect with purpose around the challenges and opportunities of the day; building their mutual understanding and ensuring that goals are clear and being worked towards. A protected space in calendars, good 1-1s create time for co-creation, coaching and mentoring — for opening up and removing blockers. Our focus in this session will be proven approaches to enriching your own.

Set in the very heart of the city, Ducie Street Warehouse is just 100 yards from Manchester Piccadilly Train Station. Originally one of four iconic warehouses – and the only one still standing – this historic building was originally designed to store cotton bales from the US before they were shipped to London. We'll be using their bright and welcoming event and workshop spaces for bright and welcoming sessions throughout the day.
