Member The Plant has created an elegant visual identity for the newly-opened luxury hotel, Four Seasons at Ten Trinity Square.
Housed in the former Port of London Authority building in the City of London is the latest hotel from the Four Seasons luxury hospitality group. The Grade II listed building was designed by Sir Edwin Cooper in the Beaux Arts style, and the hotel's new visual identity takes the building's striking facade as it's focal point.
The Plant commissioned illustrator Thibaud Herem to intricately render the building's exterior, in a style that echos archive drawings of the original plans. And details from the drawing have then been applied across a range of collateral, from keycards to menus.
Making further reference to the building's heritage, the materials feature quotes by famous historical figures such as Samuel Pepys and Geoffrey Chaucer. While a rope and brass nautical knot acts as a door hanger.
