Vintage has commissioned Member Michael Driver to create an animation that showcases its new book series, Vintage Minis.

To mark the launch of its new collection, Vintage commissioned Member and illustrator Michael Driver to create a playful short film that celebrates each narrative.

From birth to death and everything in between, Vintage Minis comprises a series of short books about the experiences that make us human.

The London-based illustrator enlisted the help of Emma Ehrling, who assisted in animating his drawings, ensuring his signature aesthetic was maintained throughout. Together, they used each book in the collection as a springboard for developing a variety of characters and humorous scenarios.

Using his rich, textural work, Michael’s comical artwork sees chaos erupt in a library after a bird escapes its cage – until the Grim Reaper enters to purchase one of the books.

Partner with us

Creatively-driven organisations partner with YCN to continually build capability throughout their teams.

Our open, year-round learning programme brings people from across these organisations together, enriching their mindsets and skillsets, and building their networks too. We take targetted, topic specific sessions into members’ teams at their places of work; and, when required, help our members to connect with the smartest thinking from across our network in relation to specific business challenges.
