Three Members were invited to create film-inspired poster designs for this year's Print Club London and Somerset House collaboration.

Print Club London has released a range of limited edition screen prints, inspired by Film4 Summer Screen showings. This is the fifth edition of the film poster exhibition in collaboration with Somerset House, with three Members among the artists invited to design this year’s prints.

Joe Cruz applied his typical technique of layering bright pastels directly on top of a photographic image, choosing a scene from last year’s blockbuster Moonlight. The result is a stunning and unique homage to the moving film.

Eve Lloyd Knight captured the title character from German film Victoria. Her captivating image is both sharp and sensual, highlighting the intimacy of the film, with illustrations of roses and thorns a nod to Victoria’s “innocent but deadly” nature. Eve is now running workshops at Somerset House for members of the public who want to learn how to create screen print posters of their own.

Finally, Member Elliot Kruszynski responded to Jaws, his print providing a lighter take on the classic thriller. Depicting a happy shark enjoying a meal, the final image is bold and quirky, in Elliot's typically playful style.

The exhibition will be at Somerset House until 23rd August, and the prints can be purchased here.
