Member Agency NB has created a fresh visual identity for international drinks company Pernod Ricard’s new business.
Gin is the fastest growing spirits category. Tapping into this trend, international drinks company Pernod Ricard has set up The Gin Hub: a stand-alone business that will drive further growth of its three largest gin brands, Beefeater, Plymouth and Seagrams.
With the mission of challenging the usual corporate identities of gins, Pernod Ricard commissioned London-based design agency NB to create a fresh and playful visual identity for The Gin Hub, which could be rolled out across print, internal presentations, and all collateral.
Designed in collaboration with artist Paul Davis, playful illustration is intertwined with the colour palette of the botanicals from which the gins are made, and teamed with bespoke typography by Davis for a finished result that boasts a loose, energetic aesthetic – almost as though it has been "sketched onto the napkin beneath your Martini".
