Member Studio XAG brings an abundance of glitter, gifts and graphics to The Body Shop’s windows to mark the leadup to Christmas.

This year, the core message of the Body Shop’s Christmas campaign is #PlayForPeace – spotlighting the charity donations that are made with each purchase of a seasonal gift. To bring this to life, The Body Shop has commissioned member agency Studio XAG to design a nationwide rollout for its physical store’s window displays.

In the brand’s flagship store on London’s Bond Street, the primary window display sees 3D lettering that spell out the word ‘PLAY’, made up of gigantic gifts and striking graphic shelves displaying the brand’s Christmas products.

Forming a backdrop to these designs is a red, glittery wall that continues up to the first floor, where the windows have been fitted with blockout graphics. Meanwhile in the smaller window, Studio XAG has introduced a lifesize version of one of The Body Shop’s seasonal gifts – a multi-coloured robot money box.

Each display is complete with suspended foamex stars and vinyl lettering printed onto the glass to encourage social engagement. Shoppers will see iterations of the scheme at stores in Brixton, Euston, Stratford, Manchester Arndale and Leeds.
