Member Ben O’Brien has completed the label art for Girls Who Grind’s four new flavoursome coffee roasts.
Following its launch in October of last year, the all-female coffee roastery Girls Who Grind has revealed its four new products for 2018, commissioning illustrator Ben O’Brien once again to design the packaging.
To complement his illustrations used across the existing branding, the predominant focus of Ben’s work is to pay homage to the inspiring female characters that the GWG team has met on its journey to completing each new blend – from the fearless boss lady Cynthia Larue in post-revolution Nicaragua, through to the all-female AMACA-Association producing coffee to support their families in Colombia.
Each label boasts its own striking colour palette, inspired by the unique flavour note of the coffee; and is complete in Ben’s trademark style of bold, graphical illustrations, which is well suited to the fierce woman portrayed on each label.
