We have an immediate opportunity for an Editorial Intern to develop their writing skills and make new connections within a close-knit and supportive team.

Our Editorial Interns support range of vital roles and responsibilities — from originating ideas for, researching and writing up features, through to covering events and reviewing books new to the Library. This is a chance to gain valuable insights into editorial processes, and to see your words and ideas shared with engaged audiences.

Our ideal candidate will be a confident writer with a healthy interest in learning, communication and consumer culture.

Editorial Internships typically last from between one and three months, and are geared around the interests and availability of each candidate.

How to Apply

Please email your CV and a Cover Letter to Lizzie at lc@ycn.org with the subject line Editorial Internship.
