A great presentation is really a demonstration of authenticity, and of understanding who it is we're presenting to. And of knowing how to get out of our own way.
Many of us don't look forward to speaking publicly. But we're often called on to do so — formally, informally, to big groups or small ones — in the hope of getting people on board to our point of view. And we all instinctively know a good public speaker when we see one; they make it look easy, and seem so natural doing it. But if we want to get better, where do we begin? Ultimately it's all about being you, and consciously putting more of you into any kind of presentation.
What we'll cover:
• How to relax and be yourself in the limelight
• Authenticity and self-awareness
• Learning the role of the script and slides
• How to hold yourself
• The power of the pause
• Understanding your audience
