Introducing a powerful, purposeful and playful tool for improving creative thinking and communication in meetings and workshops.

Serious Play, as a method and process, was coined by the LEGO Group in the 1990s, aiming to enable managers and their teams to better, and more laterally, articulate and share the challenges and opportunities they were facing. Since then, the method has flourished under an open source community model, giving people around the world tools and techniques for better creativity and communication; whether in small meetings or much bigger workshops.

In a LEGO Serious Play session we use LEGO bricks to build out 3-dimensional models of ideas, provocations and challenges; adding to them, evolving them and telling stories about their meaning and interpretation when prompted by a facilitator. The method offers a powerful and energising way to reframe our thinking, look at things from a different perspective and colourfully arrive at consensus.
